…. After being admitted to the hospital on June 8, 2021, on June 11, 2021 to be exact at 9 pm you also have to go to the hospital, only the struggle is more severe, until 2 am on the 12th you just get a hospital that accepts you.

Two days later, on June 13, 2021, our last daughter who was only 8 months old at that time had to go to the hospital, the three of us were treated in different hospitals but connected in prayer.

A week you were treated at one of the government hospitals in Pondok Gede, there was no better progress, due to limited medical equipment and medicines, and made worse by the condition of the virus that has spread to almost all of your body.

Finally on June 18, 2021, after going through struggles and prayers, I was allowed to go home even though I was still in a positive condition, only the Thorax results had improved, on that same date, you had to move to a private hospital in Bekasi because of the equipment. The medical facilities there are quite complete and your body condition must receive intensive care.

But your move is the last time we communicate, because you have to undergo intubation, and enter the ICU in an unconscious state.

Prayers and Hope

On June 18, 2021, in the morning I sent a whatsapp message to you, but it turned out that I read it myself, because the next day all your belongings, including your cellphone, were brought back home, only one has not returned, namely your MUSHAF who always faithfully accompanies you in the treatment room, in a condition of shortness of breath you keep recitation, keep chanting His verses…

Starting from June 18-25, 2021, your condition fluctuates, I am asked not to tell anyone about your condition, for reasons of medical ethics, at that time of course other than Allah, only I, my sister-in-law and my cousin will be the guardian of your treatment with fellow doctors. .

In the struggle for the recovery period at home, that one week was the toughest period to face, there were many conditions and medical actions that I had to agree to, such as medical action in the form of aborting the fetus you were carrying, entering the Covid drug which was not covered by the government, namely Actemra, not to mention the intubation process up to 5 times, all of that must be passed with only surrender to God.

In my weak body, the prayer that is sung is only about the belief that you will recover and will return home and gather again, because when I was treated there was one patient in the same room who also just got out of the ICU and after being declared cured, like a signal of hope, then I also believe you will recover.

On June 23, 2021, my prayers were answered, a whatsapp message came in and informed you that you have come to your senses with the photo evidence sent by your cousin. You can see that your condition is still weak while waving, I am also happy and touched, bowing grateful, because on the same day I was declared negative from the virus, so I am even more sure that soon you will return home.

I interpret your waving as if you are saying, “abi, umi's children, wait, umi will be home soon". And I told my cousin who is a doctor by profession, "Sister, please tell my wife, cheer up, Neng wafa (our baby) has also come home, waiting for her mother..."

Sincerely Accepting God's Decree

However, on the morning of June 25, 2021, in the morning your condition decreased again and you didn't regain consciousness, it was as if I had other feelings, so I asked my cousin's permission, it seems it's time I had to tell his condition to our two big families, and also our two sons. our grown daughter.

Finally, we held a zoom meeting on Friday. While lying down, I conveyed everything to the two big families, and at the end I still said, "Nothing is impossible for Allah, who will easily cure any disease, let's keep praying and be optimistic, even though we give the best according to Him".

On Saturday night, I just conveyed it directly to our two adult children so that they would sincerely accept whatever Allah's سبحانه و تعالى decree later.

And….that moment arrived, at 00.29 WIB, our sister-in-law sent a whatsapp message,

Just got a call from Siloam Hospital

After the news, I had a hard time sleeping, as if God was guiding me to clean up my clothes, charge my cellphone and other necessities, as if it was a sign that he was going home but not to his house, but to meet his Beloved, whom he missed, Lord of the worlds, and true, it turned out The wave of hands on June 23, 2021 is our farewell to him.

At 03.29 when I was in my long prostration, my sister-in-law called many times but the cellphone was on silent, because there was no answer, our sister called our sister who was already in our house, in unsteady steps she cried on the floor, I was the one who at that time in the last tahiyyat accidentally saw, and already understood, this is the answer to my long prostration prayer.

Allah has answered his longing and ideals, namely SHAHID, even he died still carrying our fetus, which until the end had not taken any action for abortion.

In addition, the cost of the coffin and ambulance did not cost us a penny, even though the rules are that if the Covid body is taken out of the area where the deceased died, the family must bear the entire cost, all of the deceased's piety, God willing.

The late perfect figure ولا نزكي على الله أحدا , he has fulfilled all his life, and now he has returned to the presence of his Lord, in a state of "alive and provided with sustenance by Allah swt" بل أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون

He had picked up his martyrdom, even before he died he ordered that I could fulfill an obligation that was not actually his obligation personally, even though I had to take it from his own property.

His departure taught us a lesson, that we should not depend on figures, or people. Loyalty is not in the figure but the value of goodness, noble ideals, that must be continued, as for figures, people, humans, they will leave us or vice versa we will leave them.

So now we will continue all his goodness and ideals, that is the true meaning of Loyalty. The family left behind must prove that his presence or absence does not weaken the friendship between the families, not stay away just because they are no longer part of it.

God willing, the dream of the deceased so that our eldest son can continue his studies in the Middle East will soon be realized, in the near future our son will go to Egypt to return to his homeland, study at the oldest University, al-Azhar, become part of the ranks of tafaqquh fiddin (understand religion)

Allah is the One who created life and death. If we want a good life and a beautiful death, ask Him and no one else.

Death closes the story of our lives. But death is the beginning of the story of our charitable journey.
