Assalamualaikum ustadz, Afwan permission to ask...
In surah An naba verse 12: and We built above you seven firm (heavens),
Ana's question, is there life in every sky?
At first I wanted to ask a question at the recitation, but I was embarrassed because my question seemed childish. But ana curious.
Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings
Waalaikumsalam warahmatullah.
Allah says:
{…. وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡبَشَرِ }
[Surah Al-Muddatstsir: 31]
And no one knows the army of your Lord except He alone.
Allah is capable of everything, and does not rule out the possibility that there is life in other realms that we do not know about.
There is a verse discussed by the scholars about this:
{وَلِلَّهِۤ يَسۡجُدُۤ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا ف above
[Surah An-Nahl: 49]
And all that is in the heavens and that which is on earth only prostrate to Allah, that is, all moving (animate) creatures and (also) angels, and they (angels) do not boast.
"Daabah" (creature) in the verse is distinguished from "angel",
Even so, the interpretation of this verse is broad, it doesn't end there.
As for how life is going, there is no definite news, and it's better if we don't waste time looking for news about this, because there are lots of uncertain fake news.
Ana is also curious about life in several seventh heavens. But yeah, just a question in mind.. Allah is the Greatest for sure.
