Hukum asalnya adalah boleh atau mubah bila dilakukan dengan ketentuan yang ditetapkan Islam. Karena sewa menyewa adalah salah satu cara untuk memenuhi keinginan manusia, sebab tidak semua keperluan manusia dapat terpenuhi dengan cara jual beli.
