Al Imam Ismail bin Yahya Al Muzani wombahullah once said:
“I once visited Ash Syafi'iy wombahullah when he was sick that led to his death. Then he mentioned to me a few verses of poetry about himself.
Everything happens because of Your will even though I don't want it. And if I want something but You don't want it, it won't happen.
You created Your servants according to Your knowledge. And in Your knowledge walk the life of the young and the old.
And among them some are sad, some are happy. And some of them are bad and some are good.
This you bestow, this you despise. This one You give help, this one You do not help.
7 Faidah Poetry
- Allah's knowledge is so wide and Azaliy (unlimited, does not start stupidly, and does not end with forgetfulness. Knowing what happened, what will happen, what will not happen, if it happens, what will happen.) Allah has recorded everything in Lauhil Mahfuz.
- Everything in essence begins with the will of God. Nothing can come out of His will. Even though a servant is still given the will and ability to do something or leave something, everything is still according to God's will according to what is recorded in the book. Lauhil Mahfuz.
- Fortune has been arranged by God. Our job is to put trust. Namely by trying to take the cause to achieve the sustenance accompanied by a sense of dependence on Allah.
- We should study the pillars of faith well, including faith in destiny. With it a servant will be more optimistic in life.
 Allah says:
say, “Never will anything happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Protector, and only in Allah do those who believe must put their trust." (At Tawbah: 51).
- Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said:
لو توكلتم على الله حق توكله لرزقكم كما يرزق الطير، تغدو خماصا وتروح بطانا
SIf you put your trust in Allah truly, then Allah will give you sustenance just as He gives sustenance to birds, which go out on an empty stomach and come home full..
(Narrated by Tirmidhi, authenticated by Al Albani.)
- We should increase our prayers to remain istiqomah in obedience to Allah until death picks us up. Because a person's heart is between Allah's fingers which Allah can turn back and forth according to His will.
- Everyone has advantages and disadvantages both in physical and property. But everything is nothing special in the eyes of Allah except with piety. Allah has also provided an easy way to heaven according to their respective abilities. So we should be cautious according to our ability. Allah says:
 Amen
Indeed, the most honorable among you in the sight of Allah is the most pious among you. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Knowing. (Al Hujurat: 13)
