In an area of 6,658 m2, hundreds of these tenants are ready to display various needs for halal and Islamic products, ranging from modest fashion, halal cosmetics, islamic education, hobbies and communities, islamic book & publisher, halal travel, children's products, sharia property, wedding Islamic, multi-product, to safe & healthy halal culinary (KHAS).

Not only the bazaar for Muslim products, this exhibition is also more lively because it is filled with various series of interesting events such as casual talk, book Review, parenting workshops, public speaking class, kids activities (playground), family activities (traditional games, relay run), health sharing, fundraising, until outdoor activities (archery).

Director of PT Lima Events Deddy Andu, said that the Muslim LifeFair Bandung event was the final event in 2022 as well as the Road to Muslim LifeFest 2023. Previously, the Muslim Life Fair was successfully held in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, attracting the attention of around 25 thousand visitors. In fact, the peak at the Muslim LifeFest which was held in August 2022 was recorded as many as 42 thousand visitors packed the ICE BSD area.

“Alhamdulillah, the previous visitor interest in Muslim LifeFair in Jakarta and Yogyakarta was quite good. Closing this year, God willing, we will choose West Java, namely Bandung because the Muslim market in this city is quite large," he said.

Andu said that the spirit of MSME players in halal products in this city was also enthusiastic. Of the 230 exhibitors, dominated by Bandung and its surroundings.

He hopes that the Muslim LifeFair Bandung event can become a stimulant for the development of MSMEs for halal and sharia products in Bandung and its surroundings. Not only that, Andu said, this event also provided an opportunity for participants from outside Bandung to expand their network and gain new markets.

"Bandung is a creative city, the culinary is very diverse, the tours are also good. We hope that the Muslim LifeFair Bandung exhibition can become an Islamic tourist destination for families, filling quality time with colleagues and relatives," he said.

The potential for the halal and sharia industry in West Java, including the city of Bandung, is quite large. Moreover, West Java is a province with the largest Muslim population in Indonesia.

Based on data from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the total population of West Java who are Muslim is 46.3 million in June 2021. This number accounts for 19.57 percent of Indonesia's total population of 236.53 million Muslims.

On the other hand, efforts to accelerate the development of Islamic economics and finance in West Java are continuing. In January 2022, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil issued Governor Regulation No. 1 of 2021 concerning Islamic Economics and Finance in West Java.

The Pergub was created to strengthen and accelerate regional economic growth through strengthening the halal MSME sector and Islamic finance.

With this potential, Andu targets, Muslim LifeFair Bandung 2022 can attract the attention of 25,000 visitors.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (KPMI), Rachmat Surtanas Marpaung also hopes that this exhibition can stimulate economic growth in the local area as well as encourage MSME players in halal products to be globally competitive.

Rachmat said, many members of the KPMI Korwil Bandung had penetrated the national and export markets, especially for products modest fashion, processed food and beverages also agricultural commodities such as coffee, various horticultural products and so on.
