
Jakarta, 11 August 2022 – After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the halal product and sharia industry business event, the Indonesia Muslim Lifestyle Festival (Muslim Life Fest), is ready to be held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition BSD (ICE BSD) on August 26-28, 2022.
Carrying the theme # mutual support, the Muslim Life Fest event will be attended by 298 exhibitors from 12 categories, both from Jabodetabek and other regions. Different from before, the holding of the Muslim Life Fest this time presents Muslim Life Trade which is a special zone for the export trade of halal products to a number of countries. In today's press conference, General Chairperson of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (KPMI) Rachmat Marpaung said, it has been confirmed that as many as 650 buyers from various countries including Bahrain, Pakistan, Japan, Malaysia are ready to cooperate with business players for halal products presented at the Muslim Life Fest. .
“They are enthusiastic about Indonesian agricultural products, such as coffee, pepper, cloves and other agricultural products. Because it's still a pandemic, business matchmaking, it is more dynamic, can be done online and offline. We continue to collect data on the needs of buyers and the readiness of our producers and meet the needs of buyers," said Rachmat.
The organizers facilitate "business matchmaking" between sellers and buyers to get to know each other, network, negotiate and transact. Therefore, during the first two days, Muslim Life Trade was not open to the public, while the third day of the exhibition was open to the public.
"The opportunity for halal products in foreign countries is very large. KPMI seeks to bridge all members to recognize the potential of the export market for halal products, and to increase the capacity of business actors so that they are ready to meet the needs of foreign markets.,” said Rachmat Sutarnas Marpaung, Chair of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (KPMI).

Rachmat Marpaung is optimistic that this Muslim Life Trade event can be the forerunner to realizing Indonesia as the largest producer of halal products in the world.
