
Al Ikhlas Mosque Tegal Lega is located on Jl. North Pakuan No.115, RT.02/RW.01, Tegal Lega, Central Bogor District. This mosque looks small and beautiful. Traditional Middle Eastern (Turkish Ottoman) style architecture that is packed with modern/minimalist nuances. The aroma of the Middle East is felt through the dome and tower in a proportional size. The modern feel can be seen from the simple shape of the building, not adventurous.
To beautify, the outer appearance is decorated with 3 artificial doors filled with GRC ornaments with Islamic stars. Other empty fields are also decorated with the same ornaments. For beauty, the domes and minarets are not left plain, painted with marble patterns and decorated with Islamic star embossed ornaments.
Al Ikhlas Mosque has a 1st floor with an area of about 150m2 of worship space, plus a left-wing terrace with an area of about 50m2, a total floor area of 200m2, can accommodate about 400 worshipers.
The altar wall is covered with 50x50cm granite, milk brown color with natural stone pattern. Mihrab takes up the center of the altar and takes up more than half of the altar, with dimensions of 5 meters wide, 4 meters high and 1.5 meters deep. The mihrab contains tables and chairs and a white board for recitation, prayer rugs for imam prayers, and a pulpit. The pulpit is made of plain wood without carving. Both the altar and the mihrab are simple, plain without any accessories or calligraphy. The only accessory is an LED digital clock that displays prayer times.
The floor is white granite measuring 50×50 cm which is covered with a soft light brown carpet with dark brown shaft stripes. For convenience, the worship room is equipped with 8 split air conditioners and 2 wall fans. The result is quite cold.
