
Dian Al Mahri Mosque also known as Golden Dome Mosque is a mosque built on the edge of Meruyung Highway, Limo, Depok in Limo District, Depok. Apart from being a place of daily prayer for Muslims, this mosque complex is also a family tourist area and attracts the attention of many people because of its gold domes. In addition, because of the large area available and freely accessible to the public, this place is often a family vacation destination or just a place to rest.
This mosque was built by Hj. Dian Djuriah Maimun Al Rasyid, a businessman from Banten, who has purchased this land since 1996. The mosque was built in 2001 and completed around the end of 2006. The mosque was opened to the public on December 31, 2006, coinciding with the second Eid al-Adha. time that year. With an area of 50 hectares, this mosque building occupies an area of 60 x 120 meters or about 8000 square meters. The mosque itself can accommodate about 20,000 worshipers. This mosque area is often referred to as the grandest mosque area in Southeast Asia.
