Bintaro Jaya Grand Mosque

The Great Mosque of Bintaro Jaya was established on the 1st of Ramadan 1417 H to coincide with the date of January 10, 1997. Prof.KH formally inaugurated its use. Ali Yafie as the Mosque Advisory Board and Ir. Hanafi Lauw as President Director of PT. Pembangunan Jaya.

The Great Mosque of Bintaro Jaya stands on an area of 5,415 m² with a total area of the mosque building and its supporting infrastructure covering an area of 1,700 m². In its use, the Great Mosque of Bintaro Jaya can accommodate up to 1100 worshipers with a parking area that can accommodate 70 four-wheeled vehicles. The Great Mosque of Bintaro Jaya also has several supporting facilities for worship and education consisting of;

1. Prayer Room

2. Multipurpose Room

3. Taqlim Majlis Room

4. Clinic Room

5. Secretariat

6. Security Post

7. Al-Quran Education Park Room (TPQ)

8. Library

9. Meeting Room.

 

In general, the Grand Mosque has a scope of activities that can be classified into 5 (five) groups of activities, namely:

a. Field of Worship

b. Field of education

c. ZIS and social fields

d. Management and Development Bidang

e. Operational Support

The MRBJ organization is independent, independent, trustworthy and free from political intervention or certain religious sects. Managed by professional management based on voluntary, open, selective, accountable and transparent. The MRBJ organization consists of an Honorary Board, Expert Board, Management Board and Implementing Body.

The MRBJ functions as a “MIMBAR-MIHRAB-TOWER”. The function of the pulpit is as a means of soothing Islamic syiar/da'wah to form human beings with noble character. The function of the Mihrab is as a place of worship that is clean, comfortable and solemn, and the function of the Tower is defined to prosper and empower the people around the MRBJ.
